From the HIP Clip, here’s Kevin discussing the creation of the new “Gronlandic Edit” video. Thanks to The Booty Patrol.

From Stereogum.
FYI, there’s a new T-Mobile commercial featuring of Montreal and “Gronlandic Edit.” I haven’t seen it yet, but supposedly it started airing yesterday…let me know what it looks like, and what you think of it!
UPDATE: Here it is, for one and all. I think B.P. steals the show, no? There’s already been some inevitable negative backlash, but I think the positives are in the main so far.

There’s a new interview with Kevin up at Pitchfork. Lots of Hissing Fauna discussion, some interesting talk about musical personas, and a hint of what’s to come…

Various Live Recordings for Download
The Booty Patrol has made available a couple of older concerts in lossless FLAC format. These come from 11/6/99 (Hamilton College in Clinton, NY) and 6/22/00 (Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, CA). The blog also has plans to post the recent Halloween show in Athens. I would post the video of the ”Purple Rain” cover, but apparently the lawyers are on the prowl for that one, since they’ve already asked YouTube to take it down. Bizarre.
Chris Yetter’s Things Chris Recorded blog also features the Dallas concert from Sunday, November 4, as one giant MP3 or FLAC file.
