The Summer Sundae music festival in Leicester has announced its first acts, including of Montreal.  The festival is held August 8-10.  Also on the bill so far: Supergrass, The Coral, Simian Mobile Disco, Roisin Murphy, Whitest Boy Alive, Lightspeed Champion, Tom Baxter, King Creosote, Nina Nastasia, Jeffrey Lewis, Rachel Unthank, Dengue Fever.  You can buy tickets here.

Head’s up that Nina has some new poster designs (11×17 “super heavy glossy”) for sale through the Geminitactics MySpace!  She is also expanding her tee-shirt line with more colors.  Contact her through MySpace or email.

List Christee (DJ Kevin Barnes) will be appearing at SXSW this year on Friday, March 14. You can catch him at Club DeVille at 3pm at the Hot Freaks! day party hosted by the elite of the blogger community: You Ain’t No Picasso, Aquarium Drunkard, Daytrotter, Gorilla vs. Bear, Chromewaves, Largehearted Boy, and My Old Kentucky Blog. Of Montreal has been added to the lineup of the 2008 Rothbury Festival, in Rothbury, MI. The festival is held from July 3-6. Also scheduled are Widespread Panic, Modest Mouse, Drive-By Truckers, Dresden Dolls, Diplo, Secret Machines, Black Keys, Beth Orton, Flosstradamus, the Juan Maclean, Sage Francis, and more. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, February 27th at noon EST, and can be purchased through the Rothbury Fest website.
